Here is a GREAT mfx plug-in...that looks like a stompbox pedal board!
FreeAmp 2.0
The gui is VERY user-friendly--if you can work a real stomp, you can work this. The sounds are really good, too. The author didn't try to make exact replicas of famous boxes (like Amplitube or Line6 GearBox), but instead, made unique, high-quality fx. Very easy to tinker with! The only drawback is that it IS a little heavy on RAM.
